They must communicate effectively in a unionized, transparency‑driven environment while fostering trust through shared governance. The President will maintain disciplined financial stewardship, leverage major state investments such as the free community college initiative, and lead continued upgrades in technology systems, digital transformation, and historic campus facilities. Externally, the President must build strong relationships with government officials, community organizations, industry partners, and donors to advance STCC's mission and long‑term sustainability.
