Job Description:

In a part-time capacity, the Lab Specialist will:

Support the department staff in developing/updating support documentation such as maintenance binders, MSDS binders, training documentation, records for accreditation and perform various duties with shop organization and new course content.
Utilize all equipment (mills, lathes, and grinders) and tools common in a machine shop environment in the execution of these duties.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum five (5) years of experience in a machine shop environment as a machinist.
Must be able to operate mills, lathes, and surface grinders.

Desired Qualifications:

Project planning experience
Familiarity with MS Word and Excel

Hourly rate:

$17.73/HR.

Schedule:

Flexibility to work 19 hours per week between 8am - 10:30pm Monday - Friday.
