POSITION: Part-Time MIS Systems Administrator (Staff Assistant): Management Information Systems Department; Haverhill Campus; 30 hours per week; Non-Unit Professional Position.
SUMMARY: The MIS Systems Administrator will serve as the primary technical lead for the college's electronic forms and workflow platform. This role is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of digital forms and automated workflows that support institutional operations. The position also oversees the technical administration of the college's space scheduling software ensuring system reliability, integration, and user support. This position requires collaboration with departments across the college to identify process improvement opportunities, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide training and documentation. The administrator will work closely with IT, Facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure both platforms are optimized and aligned with institutional goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
ELECTRONIC FORMS ADMINISTRATION
- Administer and configure the Softdocs Etrieve platform, including user roles, permissions, and system settings
- Design and implement electronic forms and workflows to automate college processes
- Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions
- Provide training and support to end users and departmental form owners
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate upgrades and patches
- Maintain documentation for forms, workflows, and system configurations
- Ensure compliance with data security and accessibility standards
25LIVE SPACE SCHEDULING SYSTEM
- Administer and configure the 25Live Lynx server and integration with NECC's ERP system
- Manage the technical configuration and integration of 25Live with other campus systems
- Serve as the technical liaison between IT, Stakeholders and the vendor
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendor support as needed
- Maintain system documentation
- Assist in reporting and analytics related to space utilization
OTHER DUTIES
- Participate in IT projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Assist with system audits and data integrity checks
- Stay current with product updates and best practices for both platforms
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience administering enterprise software systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Softdocs Etrieve or similar electronic forms/workflow platforms
- Experience with 25Live or other space scheduling software
- Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and system integrations
- Experience in a higher education environment
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population

Additional Information:
SALARY: Anticipated starting salary range is $39,125.00 - $44,125.00 annually with complete fringe benefit package including competitive health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, long-term disability insurance, paid sick, vacation and personal leave, educational benefits for employee/spouse/dependents, and excellent retirement benefits. Official transcripts will be required at the time of hire.
