General Statement
Administers and proctors both standardized and specialized testing initiated at the Testing Center and/or off-campus locations. Work includes proctoring of all placement tests and other tests that the College deems necessary to current and prospective students. Provides a high degree of customer service and maintains the integrity of all testing functions.

Reports to Director of Testing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all training guidelines, processes, and procedures specific to and during the administration of Computerized Placement Test (CPT), make-up exams, HiSET, GED, or other tests.
- Set up the computers for test administration, including set up for individual students when appropriate.
- Check-in students and ensure test security by checking student's identification (picture ID) prior to administering test.
- Inform students about procedures to be followed before, during, and at the conclusion of the test.
- Provide test results to students when appropriate.
- Input student inquiries and testing scores into student data base (CX-CARS), when appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality during the test and with respect to the results and all student information.
- Monitor the use of materials (i.e. scrap paper) for testing to ensure compliance with FERPA guidelines with respect to student information and student confidentiality.
- Consult troubleshooting guidelines and be prepared to respond when technical difficulties arise. Report any problems to Director of Testing.
- Provide special accommodations for testers when appropriate (may include reading the test aloud to student and/or sitting in a private room with the student).
- Actively support the teaching and learning process; practicing honesty and integrity in and out of the classroom; strive to create and support a student-centered environment while fostering academic innovation and excellence.
- Work actively with other areas of the college to ensure a spirit of college wide collaboration, collegiality, civility, and teamwork. Respect the function of dissent in an academic institution while advancing a collegial atmosphere of campus collaboration.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree or bachelor's Degree with Master's Degree in progress.
- Prior experience with administration of computerized assessments.
- Strong oral communication skills.
- High level of computer skills.
- Prior experience in providing services to diverse student populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (fluency in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Vietnamese, Portuguese, or Albanian).
- Experience in a community college setting.
