Job Description Summary:
To serve as the primary contact for recruitment, enrollment, registration support, and dual credit growth for all high school dual credit programming, including academic dual credit, Early College High School (ECHS), Career Academies, and PTECH, within an assigned caseload in the ACC service area.
Serves as the liaison between assigned caseload of public ISD, charter, private, and homeschool partners and Austin Community College (ACC), and works closely with those partners to develop, maintain, and grow both academic and workforce dual credit participation across the coordinator's assigned caseload.
Job Description:
Description of Duties and Tasks
- Serves as the primary High School Programs resource for the assigned caseload, covering both academic dual credit/ ECHS and workforce dual credit (Career Academies/PTECH). Builds and fosters a positive working relationship between partnering ISDs and Austin Community College (ACC).
- Develops, coordinates, and evaluates ACC enrollment, recruitment, outreach, and course scheduling across all high school and ACC campuses within their assigned caseload to promote and increase attainment of 15+ Semester Credit Hours and credential completions for program participants.
- Creates and maintains an active role on high school campuses within the assigned region to actively recruit students within the ACC service area.
- Coordinates and plans with partner schools to host ACC dual credit, ECHS, PTECH, and Career Academy course sections. Organizes and leads regular meetings with representatives from partner schools.
- Develops semester and annual course schedules for assigned high school and ACC campus locations. This includes managing online schedule modifications (adding, editing, canceling/deleting courses, and applying Course Note restrictions) in alignment with Strategic Scheduling guidelines, while ensuring all courses meet required instructional meeting minutes.
- Partners with assigned Academic Success team member(s) to design, implement, and maintain a student progression tracker and course sequencing models to ensure programmatic completion and meet caseload enrollment needs.
- Oversees the accuracy of the ACC online schedule by working with their Regional Manager and assigned caseload campuses.
- Monitors Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC) substantive change compliance for the assigned region.
- Coordinates and delivers all onboarding and enrollment processes to include new student application assistance, orientation sessions, and registration assistance for academic and workforce dual credit students.
- Coordinates, creates, organizes, and delivers recruitment and outreach events, as well as program information sessions, for the assigned caseload, including academic dual credit/ECHS and workforce dual credit (Career Academy and PTECH), as well as assists with these events for all high school students in the ACC service area as needed.
- Provides ACC faculty support for facility and logistical needs for all High School Programs course sections for an assigned caseload each semester.
- Initiates and executes semester registration for restricted High School Programs sections; verifies semester class rosters; Assists with Late Adds & Drops, Reinstatements, and Overloads for students in conjunction with ACC faculty and department chairs.
- Troubleshoots registration & billing issues, holds, and errors pertaining to individual student records in collaboration with their Regional Manager and other ACC departments as needed.
- Oversees and facilitates the resolution of concerns for program participants, faculty, ACC departments, and partnering ISDs; responds to emails, phone calls, and visitors to meet programmatic needs.
- Works closely with middle and high school partners to expand opportunities for dual credit in both academic and workforce areas, based on local and national best practices in the field.
- Communicates high school programs information, policies, and changes to ISD high school partners within their assigned caseload.
- Serves on and participates in HS Programs division events, high school, community, and college-wide committees as assigned.

Required Education
- Bachelor's degree.
Special Requirements
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation needed for local Austin area travel.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment.
- Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
