Dean of Enrollment ServicesJob Summary:
Under the direction of the Vice President for Student Development, the Dean of Enrollment Services provides strategic leadership for the College's enrollment services functions, advancing institution-wide goals in enrollment, onboarding, and student success. The Dean is responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing comprehensive enrollment strategies and services that support equitable student access and enrollment growth. The position provides leadership for Early College Opportunities, Financial Aid, Student Recruitment and Onboarding, Student Communications, and Student Records across all campuses and virtual environments.The position ensures compliance with applicable regulations while fostering innovation, operational effectiveness, collaboration, and data-informed decision-making.
Job Description:
Strategic Enrollment Leadership and Operations 45%
Provide strategic leadership, direction, supervision, and professional development for Enrollment Services departments, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, equity, and student-centered service;
Develop, implement, assess, and continuously improve a comprehensive Enrollment Management Plan aligned with the College's strategic priorities, enrollment goals, retention initiatives, and student success outcomes;
Serve as an active leader and contributor to the College's Enrollment and Retention Commission, collaborating closely with the Dean of Student Support and Retention and other institutional partners to support institution-wide planning, cross-functional coordination, and data-informed strategies focused on both new student enrollment and the retention, persistence, and success of current students;
Utilize institutional data, enrollment trends, market research, and student success metrics to evaluate effectiveness, identify barriers, anticipate emerging trends, and guide strategic enrollment and recruitment decisions;
Lead the development and implementation of coordinated recruitment, onboarding, communication, and outreach strategies designed to improve enrollment yield, student engagement, persistence, and completion for diverse student populations;
Advance equitable enrollment practices by identifying and addressing barriers impacting student access, enrollment, and onboarding, particularly for underserved and underrepresented student populations;
Institutional Collaboration and Partnerships- 20%
Collaborate with Institutional Effectiveness, Planning and Research (IEPR) on developing enrollment targets, dashboards, reports, and defining and monitoring metrics.
Collaborate with Educational Affairs to align enrollment operations, scheduling, communications, recruitment campaigns, and student success initiatives;
Collaborate with Marketing and Public Relations to ensure enrollment messaging, publications, digital communications, social media, CRM campaigns, and website content effectively support recruitment and student engagement goals;
Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with school districts, community organizations, external agencies, and regional partners to strengthen enrollment pipelines, dual enrollment opportunities, outreach efforts, and college transition initiatives;
Personnel and Resource Management- 25%
Develop, manage, and monitor departmental budgets and resources consistent with college priorities, strategic objectives, and responsible fiscal stewardship;
Develop, implement, evaluate, and improve enrollment, records, financial aid, and onboarding policies, procedures, and service delivery models to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, compliance, and high-quality customer service;
Other- 10%
Represent Enrollment Services on institutional committees, leadership teams, community partnerships, and College events; prepare and present enrollment-related reports, recommendations, and updates to College leadership and governance groups as needed.

Provide leadership for the effective use, implementation, optimization, and compliance of enrollment technologies and CRM systems to improve operational efficiency, communication workflows, and the student experience;
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation, FERPA, financial aid, records, and institutional requirements; oversee accurate reporting, record keeping, and data collection for areas of responsibility;
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree from an accredited college or university;
Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education enrollment management or student services, including supervisory and management experience within a complex organizational environment;
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience;
Demonstrated experience overseeing areas such as enrollment management, recruitment, onboarding, financial aid, student records and registration, CRM systems, dual enrollment, or related student services functions;
Experience with strategic planning, project management, budgeting, student information systems, CRM technologies, data analysis, reporting, and technology-supported enrollment operations;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse students, employees, school districts, families, and community stakeholders, including experience fostering equitable and student-centered practices within higher education.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate degree.
Community college experience, preferably in a related student success/enrollment position.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated success providing strategic leadership and supervising teams in support of enrollment growth, student success, operational effectiveness, and organizational goals within a higher education environment;
Comprehensive knowledge of enrollment management principles, practices, technologies, and regulations, including recruitment, onboarding, financial aid, student records, CRM systems, dual enrollment, FERPA, and related compliance requirements;
Ability to develop, implement, assess, and continuously improve data-informed enrollment, recruitment, communication, onboarding, and retention strategies that support equitable student access and success;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret institutional data, identify barriers, evaluate outcomes, and guide strategic decision-making and process improvement efforts;
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including academic departments, student services, school districts, community organizations, and regional partners;
Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences and organizational levels;
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, projects, staff, budgets, and operational responsibilities within a complex and dynamic organization.
Hiring Range: $119,500 - $140,000 Salary, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are highly competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's background and experience.
