Description
Brazosport College, a two-time Top 10 finalist for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence and Achieving the Dream Leader College, seeks a dynamic and innovative individual to join its Health Professions Program.
Reporting to the Director of Health Professions, this faculty member will support student success by preparing curriculum, including writing syllabi, developing new courses, selecting textbooks, etc.;

developing and teaching EMS classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods;

teaching on campus and at offsite locations, including clinical sites;

assisting in the advisement of students and:

serving on various assigned college committees.

Qualifications
Associate degree in Emergency Medical Services or closely related field;

DSHS Texas EMS certification:

Paramedic or Licensed Paramedic and:

DSHS Texas EMS Instructor/coordinator;

teaching experience at the community college level desirable;

ability to teach using multiple delivery methods, including online and hybrid instruction; demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations; excellent written and oral communication skills;

other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one's value to the institution;

exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern A sociation (SAC ) minimum credentials are met
