Job Summary/Basic Function:
The coordinator provides leadership, supervision, and operational oversight of all students' academic support programs. The coordinator ensures the effective delivery of student success services, supervises Senior Leaders and Student Success Coaches, coordinates training and scheduling, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and administration to enhance student success across the institution.
- Supports the SSC director on the day-to-day operations of the Student Success Center, ensuring tutoring and academic coaching services run smoothly.
- Maintain staffing schedules, monitor center traffic, and ensure adequate coverage during high-volume hours.
- Oversee workflow processes, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain an inviting, student-friendly environment.
- Ensures compliance with accreditation and institutional requirements related to academic support services.
- Provides day-to-day guidance and support to Senior Leaders and Student Success Coaches, including promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Supports the recruitment, hiring, on boarding, and training of new student employees, ensuring consistent expectations and high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinates, facilitates, and maintains ongoing training and professional development, including semester trainings, workshops, skill-building sessions and the updating of training materials, manuals, procedures, and resources.
- Coordinates routine data collection related to tutoring activity, attendance, course impact, and success measures.
- Assists in analyzing TracCloud and related assessment information to identify trends and support program improvement.
- Prepare reports and budget recommendations for the Director.
- Communicate updates, procedures, and expectations to center staff.
- Assist in outreach and promotional efforts for SSC services, including working with Marketing department to develop content or materials.
- Collaborates with faculty and campus partners to increase awareness and utilization of academic support programs.
- Supports special projects, events, and initiatives related to academic support or student success.
- Performs other duties of similar nature or level as assigned.
Location: Position is 100% on-site presence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Two or more years of experience in higher education, tutoring/SI coordination, or academic support management preferred. Experience supervising employees is desirable.
- Experience supervising student employees or leading teams preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor staff at varying levels of skill and experience.
- Ability to analyze data and support assessment-driven program improvements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, TracCloud, and educational technologies.

Physical Demands:
Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, talking, and ability to drive off-campus to meetings.
