Job Description:


The Digital Media Production Department is in need of an instructor to teach DMP-101 Introduction to Multimedia for the fall 21 term. This is part of a state wide pathway initiative and the instructor will be teaching the course at the Springfield Conservatory of the Arts campus.

Job Responsibility:
  • Availability to teach Monday and Wednesday from 12:50-2:20 PM at the Springfield Conservatory of the Arts Campus
  • Experience with multimedia computer applications including Adobe Photoshop
  • Up to date to current trends in multimedia technology applications, tools, and methodology.



Requirements:


  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in communications or a related discipline. College-level teaching experience in multimedia, preferably at the community college level, preferred.
  • Desire and ability to work with a diverse student body in a cooperative environment.
  • Experience creating and implementing student learning outcomes, evaluating student performance and progress through a variety of assessment approaches; the use of classroom technology, online learning, and student-centered learning techniques are preferred.
  • Commitment to college service activities is required.
  • Desire and ability to work with a diverse student body in a cooperative environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Essential functions are performed indoors in a classroom or computer lab area. Physical demands for this program may include walking, lifting, standing, bending, and close vision.
